Context

This infrastructure is installed when machine, PLC, meter or sensor signals need to be collected at the edge and handed off to upper systems. The same frame applies from automotive lines and supplier plants to metal, food or white-goods lines.

Our approach
What we do

What we do

We install an edge layer that collects from field devices: protocol conversion, buffering and handoff to upper systems are written in the project definition; channels and sampling are defined per source.

Narrative · 03

What you get

Running edge collection, protocol mapping and transfer records.

04

How we verify

Each commissioned channel is compared against a reference measurement or a known signal, recording its accuracy and timestamp consistency. Transfer loss is measured by reconciling the records reaching the upper system with events at the source.

05

What is required

Requires access to machine, PLC and meter cabinets and the network, the output signals or protocol documentation, and a commissioning window. A site owner is assigned to verify the channel list with us.

How it works

The edge layer writes the definition of field signals, opens the data flow and accepts it against a reference measurement—so upper systems feed from a shared, timestamped record.

Common protocol model

Machines, PLCs, meters and sensors may arrive on different protocols. At the edge, protocol conversion and tagging bind signals into a common model so upper applications read the same definition.

Definition first, then flow

Protocol conversion, time synchronisation and local buffering are installed. Which signal marks which event, sampling and tagging are written in the project definition; channels go live after approval.

Proof of the signal

Each channel is compared against a reference measurement or a known signal; a verified signal inventory and second-resolution records are delivered. Transfer logs leave a traceable chain from source to upper system.

What comes next

Once the edge record is in place, OEE, energy, quality and integration can feed from the same field source.
