IT Infrastructure
Enterprise and field IT infrastructure — the same discipline from office to production.
What is IT infrastructure?
IT infrastructure is the technical foundation of servers, networks, storage, identity and access on which applications run. Whether office, branch, data centre or cloud, uninterrupted and secure operation of business applications rests on this foundation.
The scope typically includes local and internet connectivity, servers and virtualisation, storage and backup, identity management, monitoring and continuity planning. Deployment may be on-premises, cloud or hybrid.
A well-built stack is the invisible carrier of daily work — from user accounts and file share to email and business apps. Changes should be logged, access authorised, backups tested and monitoring visible.
Our general IT infrastructure services
AEON designs and commissions corporate IT infrastructure whether or not the client runs a production plant. Network design and segmentation, servers and storage, Active Directory / identity, backup and disaster recovery, monitoring and helpdesk integration are part of this package.
For office moves, new branches, data-centre refresh, cloud migration or strengthening an existing stack, we run discovery, architecture, installation, acceptance and documentation together. The service is sector-agnostic and delivered in standard IT engineering language.
We define clear deliverables: network and server diagrams, IP and VLAN plans, identity and access policy, backup / restore test records, monitoring views and an operations handbook. Acceptance closes with access, backup and sample application scenarios.
The work scales from a small office to a multi-site organisation. We can keep your existing equipment or deliver a full refresh end to end; in both cases one project definition and one acceptance protocol apply.
How AEON applies it
In AEON projects, IT infrastructure is the commissioning layer that makes measurement and monitoring solutions work on site. Edge collection, network segmentation, servers, storage and enterprise access are written in the same project definition; acceptance uses reference signals and transfer logs.
Operations, energy and test solutions feed through this stack. Shop-floor data collection, SCADA/historian bridges and multi-site monitoring sit on the same network and server model. Infrastructure ships with the solution as the installation that carries the measured record.

The catalog items below use this systems capability on site. Explore scope, delivery and acceptance language in detail.

Shop-Floor Data Acquisition & Edge Infrastructure
Edge infrastructure that collects data from machines, PLCs, meters and sensors; protocol conversion and secure handoff to upper systems.

On-Prem / Edge / Hybrid Architecture Setup
On-prem / hybrid architecture setup where data is processed and stored on site or at the edge.

Industrial Protocol Standardization (OPC UA / MQTT)
A communications layer that unifies equipment of different brands and generations under shared protocols such as OPC UA / MQTT.

ERP – MES – SCADA Integration Layer
An integration layer that sets up two-way, traceable data flow between ERP, MES and SCADA.
