Context
Integrated measurement is set up to view energy use together with OEE and production records. The same combined record is used for per-part or per-vehicle energy visibility on automotive lines, and in metal and plastics production.

Measurement and software that combine energy (kWh), downtime and scrap on one baseline — real unit cost and loss records per product.
Solution flow

Integrated measurement is set up to view energy use together with OEE and production records. The same combined record is used for per-part or per-vehicle energy visibility on automotive lines, and in metal and plastics production.

We collect energy and production signals under one measurement plan; software merges kWh, downtime and scrap on a shared baseline and produces per-product cost and loss records.

kWh per product, unit cost and combined loss record.

kWh per product, unit cost and combined loss record.
Acceptance requires kWh, downtime and scrap records to combine on one baseline for the same shift and product, with per-product cost reconciling against a known period's bill and production data.
Requires shared access to energy and production signals, production records for the product and shift breakdown, and approval of the common measurement plan.
How it works
There is a single bill at plant level and separate reports at line level: kWh with the energy manager, OEE in production, scrap in quality; though all three are the same shift's data, they never meet in one table. This product combines the three on one baseline; acceptance depends on per-product cost reconciling with the bill and production.
Because kWh, downtime and scrap are kept in separate systems, the question of whether the product was made cheaply is answered by guessing. The source of loss never combines in a single view.
Energy and production signals are collected in the same measurement plan; the software combines kWh, downtime and scrap on one shared baseline. Per-product cost and loss records are produced from a single model.
Acceptance is by the combined record for the same shift and product reconciling with a known period's bill and production data. Unit cost is now defensible.
What comes next
Once the combined record is stable, carbon reporting and process optimization feed on the same baseline.
